About Coach

Sarah wasn’t active growing up, and (like many!) only started going to the gym due to being unhappy with her weight. She read about CrossFit in a fitness magazine in 2012 and walked into her local box. Replacing her mentality from training to be smaller with training to be stronger, fitter, faster was a game changer, and meant she was able to stick with it and enjoy the process. She has since witnessed hundreds of people walk into a CrossFit gym and help them make the same discovery.

When she’s not in the gym coaching or training, she can be found taking her dog GusGus on long walks and running her meal prep company, Get Prepped. Sarah’s coaching style is positive and energetic, with the goal of encouraging athletes to achieve things they never thought possible.

Motivation & Passion

Sarah’s favourite part of coaching CrossFit is helping people improve their mental health through training. While the physical benefits are huge, watching someone build their confidence and self-esteem due to regularly challenging themselves is the reason why she loves coaching. The transformation that needs to happen between the ears for real long-term change to happen requires patience and determination but is worth it 100% of the time.
