Harry began his fitness journey in his early 20s by joining a standard gym, feeling tired of being weak, sluggish, and out of shape. Over time, he became a coach specializing in Olympic Weightlifting and strength training. Harry’s coaching style is rooted in patience, enjoyment, and building confidence, with a strong focus on improving lifting mechanics, strength, mobility, speed, and power.
Harry’s turning point came when he discovered CrossFit, which led him to Olympic Weightlifting. After achieving his initial fitness goals, he felt lost, but CrossFit reignited his passion for training, especially in weightlifting. This shift led him to dive deeper into understanding technique and how to build power and strength.
For Harry, strength training is about more than just lifting heavier—it’s about feeling strong and capable, both inside and outside of the gym. He loves how weightlifting allows individuals to make the sport their own. Harry runs and programs sessions for Market Town Weightlifting Club, focusing on technical refinement, and leads Pillars Weightlifting, where he helps lifters fine-tune their technique, build strength, and develop speed and power.
