About Coach

George started training when his parents bought him a home weight kit on his 17th birthday. He had absolutely no clue what he was doing, but he figured he could learn on the fly. It might have taken longer than he would’ve liked, but he looked everything up online and did what he could to get as big and as strong as possible. It wasn’t until he turned 24 that he even thought about training CrossFit!

Turning Point

Having spent time training with bodybuilding and powerlifting styles, George found that nothing ever seemed to “fit” him. He was never the biggest, never the strongest, and would often get bored of the monotony of those training styles. Luckily, CrossFit is much more varied, and it just so happened that he moved into a new home just up the road from Market Town CrossFit. This was the catalyst leading him to find a new love and passion for training.

Motivation & Passion

George is motivated in helping people become their best selves. He thrives when teaching people the steps required to develop new skills that people have been stuck on for a while. Everyone can learn a skill, and part of the fun of the learning process is figuring out what different cues work for different people’s needs.
